Updated OA Unit Election Procedures

In response to conditions caused by COVID-19 the Order of The Arrow and Wewanoma Lodge have made important changes to how we conduct unit elctions for the remainder of the 2020 election season. 

Here’s what you should know:

• Wewanoma Lodge's election season has been extended through July 1st, 2020. All elections will be conducted over Zoom.

• All candidates that were elected during the 2019 election year have been granted a 24 month extension from the date of their election.

• 3 nights of virtual camping (i.e., backyard or solo camping) may be counted for the 15 night camping requirement if your unit's camping schedule has been impacted by COVID-19.( If your unit has already had an election between March 1st and April 30th, 2020 your unit is allowed to request an additional election for any Scouts that would have been eligible due to the virtual camping nights.) • A virtual Call Out will be conducted in July to announce the Scouts elected to The Order of The Arrow in 2020. You will receive a separate email when the details soon.

• Wewanoma Lodge will continue to follow guidelines from the national office and government agencies and is still evaluating the possibility of an August Ordeal.
